“Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion”
— Martha Graham
class Levels & Experience
-
For those with no dance experience whatsoever, looking to start dancing for the first time as an adult. Classes are taught at the pace of the students, with lots of emphasis on repetition, and are based on foundational skills.
-
For those with some experience in the chosen style, or some general fundamental technique. Choreography is taught at a slower pace with more repetition, and is based on foundational skills, with some light introduction to new movement patterns.
-
For dancers with strong foundations looking to refine technique, musicality, and styling. Choreography builds in complexity and extends beyond the foundations in the chosen style.
-
For dancers with a strong technique foundation looking to focus more on quality of execution, musicality, and/or looking to refine their ability to retain choreography quickly. Students may require an assessment to join some advanced courses. It is recommended to have a high degree of strength, mobility, and coordination to participate in these classes.
-
Open to dancers of all levels, with opportunities for increasing or decreasing the difficulty. Some dance experience is recommended to join an open level class.
