I 100% recommend this class. I'd take the exact same class over and over again. I found it challenging as a first time bachata dancer but easy to follow and enjoy. I love to dance so it was great to add this to my arsenal.
Emily was a gem, patient and very helpful. She's a phenomenal dancer and she teaches with clarity. She's also very open to going over steps and providing feedback on what you can improve. The hour per week FLIES by so really make the most of it. Be on time and have fun.

I am absolutely loving my time at Underdog Dance Corp. The studio is beautiful, spacious and clean, the staff are friendly and fantastic at what they do, and the atmosphere is accepting and inviting. It’s a perfect place for beginners to feel right at home trying a new thing. I’ve definitely found a new passion for dance that I can’t wait to continue pursuing!

Took my first class with Kestra today. Great vibes, supportive atmosphere and just a lot of fun. I’d totally recommend underdog to anyone looking to get back into dance as an adult or absolute beginners.

This is a very useful class to take if you want to work on body isolation. I learned so much on just my first day! I can't recommend this enough to anyone that is looking to level up their bachata/salsa movement.

I've never done much dancing in my life, but I found that the class went at a pace that let me comfortably learn all the moves without being overwhelming. There wasn't much pressure to perfect the moves, but I still feel like I learned something that I could use.

Joined the 5 week Beginner's Bachata class and had the first class this week. Emily and group were professional and made the class fun. It was nice that they switched up dance partners every few minutes so you didn't need to feel uncomfortable with one person for the whole class.

Very first time taking lesson in Kitchener. It was one of the most intensely fun warmups I've ever had. The venue is great, the space and the people are lovely. I would highly recommend if you are in Kitchener Waterloo area, definitely should take lessons

We booked a private chair dancing class for our girlfriends Bachelorette/Birthday party and Underdog exceeded expectations! Our teacher Lauren was welcoming, efficient, and nailed down choreo with a very buoyant (screeching) class of excited dancers at varying levels, in 1 hour. Beyond impressed. Well priced, well taught, beautiful space, and great mood lighting. 10/10 experience. We will absolutely be coming back!! ❤️

I LOVE this studio! So many styles to choose from, and everyone is so kind and encouraging, and the classes are great fun regardless of how much previous dance experience a person has. I've had Brad as an instructor for a few classes now - not only is he very talented, but he is a great communicator! Brad's energy is contagious, he makes classes SO MUCH FUN with his genuine unbounded enthusiasm for watching people grow as dancers - the way he cheers for you will make you feel like you can do anything! :)

This is a great studio for all dance levels. Emily has created a safe, respectful space for people to have fun, learn some new skills, and overcome personal goals and challenges. I highly recommend their Thursday night Salsa socials, which comes with a beginner lesson to help you get dancing!

It's everything I was looking for! Not only do they have different types of dance classes but they do socials as well! Emily is so professional & easy to follow as an instructor! She's also flexible if your personal situations impact your ability to dance. Such a great studio! My partner who didn't usually go out dancing, cant wait till our next lesson :) Hard to find a studio that offers so much & so well <3 Absolutely love it!

We had the most amazing time taking Emily’s 4 week beginners bachata class! I came in with a knee injury and Emily gave adjustments for every skill level.
We felt very comfortable with the COVID precautions put in place and the space is super clean! Thank Underdog Dance for creating such a fun and safe space for all of us to enjoy. We will definitely be coming back!

The classes we took (Bachata) were incredibly fun and we learned a ton.
