Frequently Asked Questions - Registration

  • You can drop in to a 5-week session if the class is not full, but since they are progressive, you may find yourself behind if you drop in to week 3. If a class is not sold out, dropping in to the first week of a 5-week session is a great way to see if you like the class and want to fully commit to the session.

  • Our classes run in 5 week cycles, so every 5 weeks we have a new schedule. The best way to get the full visual schedule when registrations opens is to create an account on our site, and opt in to marketing emails. Our email list is the first to receive a visual schedule for new sessions.

    Week to week, our full studio schedule is available here and on our website on the "Full Studio Schedule" Page.

  • It's totally ok to miss a class within a 5-week session, however we cannot provide make up classes or individual assistance to catch up. We recommend asking another student in the class to take a video for you so you can see what we worked on! But don't worry too much about it, as every progressive class begins with a review of the previous week's material!

  • First, double check the filters you are using as you search for classes. Sometimes, the dates selected mean certain classes are hidden. If after adjusting search filters you still don't see the class, it is likely the class is full. Please feel free to email us at info@underdogdance.com to request to be added to the waitlist!

  • You are most welcome to walk in for our Thursday night $5 drop in lessons and social dance nights!

  • Please ensure you can attend all classes within a 5 week session before you register. We do not offer refunds or credits after registration for any reason. If you are an unlimited monthly member, please ensure you cancel your registration in the class so that another member may participate in your place.

  • Most often, we do not allow registration for students under 18 years of age. Please contact us for children's/teen's classes.

 Frequently Asked Questions - Payments

  • Please note that our system accepts only credit cards, and not Visa Debit! If you would like to add money to your account with a debit card, please see us in studio for assistance.

  • Our membership bills monthly because it is an ongoing subscription to the studio, and not tied to a single session. With 6 or 12 month commitment periods, your membership covers you for multiple sessions.
